Nicole - Owner

Nicole is el capitano of Sessions Hairdressings and has proudly held and supported her dream and evolving vision for the past 14 years. She began her journey at 17, fresh out of high school, in search of connection and creative expression and stumbled into hairdressing after a suggestion from her dad to “give it a go”. She knew the moment she walked into Sessions for her trial day that this was where she wanted to be.

Being mentored by some of the most outstanding hairdressers, stylists and colour technicians in the industry has awarded Nicole a breadth of knowledge that allows her to understand what her clients want on a commercial level and deliver every time. Her passion lies within the connection she has with her clients and the community she has built around Sessions.

Dani Alafogianis - Principal Stylist

Dani brings her high energy to Sessions Hairdressing with a strong background of training and experience with some of the industries best hairdressers. Starting her career in the beauty as a makeup artist, she was encouraged to add hairdressing to her repertoire and “absolutely fell in love with it” from the moment she started. 8 years have passed and Dani’s passion for hairdressing grows stronger every day.

Dani uses her strong knowledge of colour theory, face shape and skin tone to help her determine the best outcome for her clients hair. Achieving the perfect blonde on different hair tones and textures is the ultimate satisfaction for Dani, however, her favourite part of hairdressing is making her clients feel good about themselves through her work. Watching people GLOW as they leave the salon happy is everything.

Adriana Barlova - Principal Stylist

After trying her hand in bookkeeping and fashion in her homeland of Slovakia, Adriana found herself pulled into the world of hairdressing when she landed on our shores 11 years ago. Throughout her career she has worked with many colour ranges and pursued advanced education through global haircare brands.

Adriana is meticulous and has a strong attention to detail which is reflected in her passion for creating the perfect bob. She loves to get creative behind the chair with colour and equally loves the repetition and detail that goes into performing a perfect keratin treatment.

Angelica Mutti - Stylist

Angelica joins us from beautiful Italy and brings with her a refined skillset in her hairdressing. Dreaming of being a hairdresser since she was a girl, Angelica loves to enhance the natural beauty of her clients through a combination of cut and colour that best suits their face shape and colouring. She wants clients to feel at ease with their hair.

Angelica has moved to Australia to further cultivate her hairdressing skills and to improve her English language skills. She is creative, imaginative and has trained under some of Europes best hairdressers in colour and cutting techniques. With her proclaimed “perfect blow-dry” Angelica is well equiped to handle your next style.

Keely Calabria - Makeup Artist

Keely is our new resident makeup artist. With 10 years experience in the makeup industry and in management behind her, Keely has decided to forge her own path as a freelancer. With experience in events such as Mercedes Benz Fashion Week - Assisting with Nicola Burford, Strangers Things X Secret cinema, Miss Universe state Finals, Supermodel of the Year finals, Music videos, Short films, Mardi Gras, weddings, formals and editorial, you are in safe hands with Keely.

Ralph Inskip - Furry Friend

Ralph is the fluffiest member of our team and his attention to customer satisfaction is second to none. Ralph first realised his dream of working in a hair salon when he met Nicole 5 years ago. It was only natural that he would follow in her footsteps and when Ralph was introduced to the team and clients of Sessions, his role in the salon was created.

Ralph loves pats, cuddles, and playing fetch or tug of war with one of his many toys (mostly his well loved furby). He has even been known to have a nap on the couch with you if the opportunity arises. He is a gentle, beautiful soul who puts a smile on everyones face and he does his job with an equally huge smile on his own fluffy face. Ralph can’t wait to meet you!
